Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for web and/or mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and QA reviews.
• Conduct API testing and basic database validation when required.
• Support UAT cycles and release validation.
• Utilize AI tools to assist in test case generation, test data preparation, bug analysis, and productivity improvement.
• Assist in maintaining automation scripts or frameworks where applicable.

Required Skills (Must Have)

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC.
• Experience writing detailed test cases and defect reports.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience using AI-assisted testing tools or Generative AI (ChatGPT, Copilot, TestGPT, etc.) for improving testing workflows.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
